The National House of Chiefs has expressed satisfaction with the demonstration of love and peace by all Ghanaian during the celebration of this year’s Christmas festivities.  The House notes that the common message of particularly Christians during the yuletide has been that of love for neighbours and for the nation.  The House has also appealed to all Ghanaians to let the message permeate all their activities in 2015 to guarantee the needed peace for national development.  A statement signed by the Acting Registrar of the National House of Chiefs, A.K. The KMA Circuit Court trying ace Hiplife musician, Emmanuel Botwe, popularly called Kwaw Kesse, has eventually granted him bail, albeit for less than one week.   The bail application, which was filed by the legal team of the musician led by Nana Akwasi Boaitey, was not opposed by the Prosecutor, Superintendent Emmanuel Akunnor who had appraised himself with the contents of the medical report procured by Kwaw Kesse’s legal team.  When the bail application accompanied with a medical report from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi was brought to his attention, the presiding judge, William Boampong upheld the application based on the details of the report.  Under the criminal laws of Ghana, the presiding judge had the prerogative to grant the bail application on grounds of a genuine medical report. Worshipers in a Worship modd   Most church auditoriums in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi were filled to capacity as Christians observed the last Sunday of the year.      The congregations dedicated most parts of their services to thanksgiving and worship in appreciation to God for how far he has brought the members in spite of the many economic and social challenges they faced in the course of the passing year.      In almost all the churches visited by Ashanti Today , the church auditoriums were virtually full to capacity as both regular and occasional worshipers had every reason to have an encounter with their maker on the last Sunday of the year 2014.     The high church attendance is in view of the fact that most churches could not meet on the actual Christmas day which fell on a week day.       AMMA MCE handing over the some of the prizes to Ms Eunice Asantewaa Oduro The Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly in the Ashanti region has held its first ever Best Worker Awards ceremony at Asokore Mampong during which 18 staff of the Assembly were identified as the most hardworking of all and given various prizes as their rewards. Their prizes included refrigerators, standing fan, certificates and plaques.
