directorate some time to educate the public on critical health issues.

municipal and district Health directors as well as other health partners at the
2015 Annual Performance Review Meeting of the Ashanti Regional Health directorate
in Kumasi.

in the overall health delivery value chain, the excesses in their reportage negatively
affect the directorate’s information management on pertinent health issues such
as disease outbreak.

sensationalizing health issues and rather focus on public education to take
responsibility for their general health.
The Regional Health Director enumerated
chalked in 2015 despite financial and logistical challenges.
They included
outreaches for over one thousand beneficiaries in the Asokore Mampong, Ejura
and Atwima Mponua districts with focus on general medicine, dental, eye and ENT
services.

30 districts in the region, attainment of national immunization program
targets, as well as the institution of innovative measures such as Sunday health
services and Tele-medicine which helped to bring health care providers closer
to their clients.
Dr. Nang-Beifubah attributed the successes to the commitment
and selfless efforts of both public and private health officials across the
region as well as support from its local and international development
partners.
Mr. Nang-Beifubah challenged participants at the annual review
meeting to brainstorm relevant ideas to enable the directorate to achieve all the
