NANA AKUFFO ADDO ENDS CAMPAIGN TOUR OF ASHANTI
The standard bearer of the NPP, Nana
Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo says the party has capable people to reverse the
current bad economic situation of the country.
He said the bad economic situation is a result of bad policies of the NDC government over the past seven years.
Nana Akufo-Addo made this known when he addressed party faithful at Asante Akyem Agogo to round off his five day “Arise And Build Tour” in the Ashanti Region.
He said the bad policies and programmes of the NDC government had brought untold hardship to Ghanaians, adding that when the NPP is given the chance to rule the nation, it would create jobs and wealth for the people, especially the unemployed youth.
According to Nana Akufo-Addo, Ghanaians wish for a better government that would give them hope and aspirations to raise their living standard.
He said his expectations are that Ghanaians would vote massively for him, since this is the third time he is contesting the Presidential election.
Nana Akufo-Addo had earlier called on the Agogo Traditional Council, where he was received by the Krontihene, Nana Kwame Nti and Queenmother, Nana Afrakoma.
Nana Kwame Nti called on the NPP standard bearer to impress upon supporters and sympathizers of the party, particularly the youth to desist from acts that could spark off violence in the upcoming general elections.
Before his visit to Agogo, Nana Akufo-Addo joined the Ashanti North Region Assemblies of God Men’s Ministry for its Regional Convention in Kumasi, where prayers were said for him and for peaceful general elections.
