KOJO BONSU BOWS OUT


Kojo Bonsu has resigned as the Kumasi Metropolitan Chief Executive with immediate effect. 

In a statement dated 12th July, signed by himself and released to the media in Kumasi, Mr. Bonsu said he has already tendered his resignation to President John Dramani Mahama.

 He expressed gratitude to President Mahama for allowing him to serve in his government. 

Mr. Bonsu showed appreciation also to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu, the Kumasi Traditional Council, staff of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly and the people of Kumasi for their support and cooperation during his tenure as the Mayor. 

He expressed also satisfaction with the strides the KMA has made in the metropolis in the areas of peace, development and what he describes an enduring legacy recorded during the period he served as the Chief Executive. 

He wished the government well and pledged to continue to give off his best to ensure the re-election of President Mahama in the upcoming elections.
