SNAKE IN A CAR
There was a near pandemonium at Bantama in Kumasi this afternoon when a snake was found in a private saloon car.
The driver of the Mazda saloon car with registration number AW 1600 Y, Michael Owusu told Ashanti Today that he felt something moving on his leg while driving.
When he took a look at what is was, to his surprise, he saw the average-sized looking yellowish snake trying to escape from the car.
He said while he screamed for help, he fled through the passenger's gate.
Mr. Owusu suspected that the snake could have entered the vehicle when he parked it under a tree near the Ejisu Government Hospital in the Ejisu Juaben Municipality.
According to him, he had entered the main Abrepo Junction-Sofoline road from the Metro Mass Transport terminal at Bantama when he found the snake.
The snake could have possibly hidden in the engine but was escaping due to the heat.
The man who killed the snake was gave his name only as Seidu, said the reptile was killed at about 1.30 pm but would not tell what would happen to the snake afterwards.
