ADANWOMASE WELCOMES ANDY OKRAH
The chiefs and people of Adanwomase in the Kwabre East district of Ashanti have appealed to government to reconstruct and expand the link road from Ejisu to Asonomaso Nkwanta to serve as an alternative route for the main Tafo-Mampong road.
This will help ease the heavy
traffic congestion on the main road particularly at Pankrono and Tafo during
rush hours.

motorists and commuters of Asante Mampong and its nearby communities to and
from Accra.

places of convenience, including a community initiated 12-seater toilet.
The
community, which was adjudged the neatest town in Ashanti in 2014, also
requires waste bins at vantage points for sustained environmental hygiene.
The
chief expressed appreciation to the government for being the first to appoint a
citizen of Adanwomase into main stream government.
In response, the Deputy
Ashanti Regional Minister, Andy Osei Okrah, who is also the Ashanti Regional
2016 NDC Campaign Taskforce Coordinator, assured the chiefs that government
will upgrade the link road to serve the numerous users and to also open up the
area
to the rest of
