Dr. Oteng Agyei recounted how a members of his family suffered to get treatment for a new born who was diagnosed of jaundice as a result of congestion at the hospital due to the inadequate number of the Photo Therapy saying that the child survived by miracle.

The Acting Medical Director of the Saint Michael’s Catholic Hospital, Dr. Samuel Adu, who received the machine on behalf of the Hospital which is the main referral healthcare facility in the Bosomtwe district and its adjoining communities, noted that the hospital has just one outmoded such essential equipment to cater for the numerous cases adding that in most cases, patients have had to be to be transferred to either the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital or Korle-Bu for treatment.

He therefore thanked the Oteng Agyei family for the gesture, particularly Dr. Oteng Agyei for the numerous assistance he has been rendering to not only the hospital, but the entire district.
