ASHANTI REGIONAL MINISTER ENSTOOLED SUB-CHIEFOF JACOBU

The Ashanti regional minister, Peter Anarfi
Mensah has been enstooled the Nkosuohene or development chief of the Jacobu
traditional area.
His stool’s name is Nana Anarfi-Mensah The First.
The
enstoolment ceremony has taken place at the Jacobu Community Centre in the
Amansie West District of the Ashanti region.

who performed the enstoolment said the decision to honour the Anarfi-Mensah was
informed by his hardwork, humility and dedication to the development needs of
the region.
According to Nana Kwadwobri, the Regional Minister’s contribution
towards sustaining peace, unity and development in the district is a needs to
be appreciated.
He described the elevation of Mr. Anarfi-Mensah from the
position of a Headmaster to the status of a Regional Minister as an honour to
the people of Jacobu, where his father comes from hence the need for
traditional leaders of the Jacobu traditional area to show their appreciation.
On
his part, the Regional Minister, now Nana Anarfi-Mensah, called on the people
to continuously support the government in its efforts to implement development oriented
policies and programmes to improve the living standards of the people.
The
minister thanked the people of Jacobu for the recognition accorded him.
This,
he said would serve as a further motivation for him to work extra hard for improvement
in the lives of the people.
He promised not to let the people of Jacobu down
but will rather do more to justify the confidence reposed on him.
