SDA PASTOR AND 3 OTHERS KILLED IN A GORY ACCIDENT AT ACHINA

Four persons, including a man identified as a Pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, SDA, have been killed in a road accident that occurred at Achina in Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti region. 
This was after a tipper truck rammed into the private Mercedes Benz salon vehicle being driven by the Pastor.

According to eye witnesses' account, two other persons also sustained injuries in the accident which happened at about 12 midday today, yesterday Tuesday January 31, 2023, have been sent to the Hospital for medical attention.
According to the eye witness, three of the four deceased persons passed away on the spot of the accident with the remaining one died while receiving treatment at the hospital. 
The SDA Pastor who was driving the car with registration number GW- 7329-X with the four deceased to Achina collided with the Tipper truck with registration number GR-9570-22 . 

The Pastor reportedly picked two members of his church who were returning from the hospital to add up to him and a friend who were already on the vehicle on his way to Achina. 
They included a woman. It took both concerned members of the community and personnel of the local Fire Station to cut the mangled benz car before pulling out the four but three of them were already dead. 

The tipper truck driver who is also  currently receiving treating at the nearby hospital after sustaining injuries, said he failed break while negotiating a sharp curve on the Achina - Onwe road leading to the gory accident.
Bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the mortuary for autopsy and police investigations.

New Campus of the Kwamang Presby SHS The Kwamang Presby Senior High/Technical School in the Sekyere Central district of Ashanti needs an urgent external intervention to address some of its pressing basic needs to function very well.  A visit by Ashanti Today to the school’s premises revealed that the school does not have an administrative block to administer affairs of the school for which reason the Headmistress, the Bursar and another staff are sharing one room which has been partitioned, while the Assistant Headmaster, the rest of the Accounts staff among other administrative officers are also working from an improvised classroom.
